Kennedy Maria Segars was born in Atlanta, GA on May 14, 2000 to the parentage of Marvin K. Segars, Sr. and Quvada A. Moreland. Early on, Kennedy’s parents and those around her knew that she was not only an inquisitive child full of energy and personality, but it was also realized that Kennedy was destined to be a young person of purpose!

The Kennedy Maria Segars Foundation Inc., is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in DeKalb County, Georgia dedicated to inspiring young people of color to pursue their educational endeavors in an environment that promotes personal and academic excellence.
