Snapfinger Elementary School
Our Annual Bookbag Giveaway supports young learners in the metro Atlanta community. Each year, we provide essential school supplies to elementary and other grade-level students. Thanks to community support, we're ensuring our youth start the school year equipped and confident. Together, we're making a difference, one bookbag at a time.
UPCOMING PROGRAMS
We're excited to announce our newest project, the remodel of the Teachers' Lounge at Snapfinger Elementary School, the oldest elementary school in DeKalb County. Completed on October 21, 2023 and unveiled on October 24, 2023, the new space features updated appliances, modern furniture, and a dedicated coffee/tea station. This renovation aims to offer a rejuvenated environment for the hardworking teachers and staff.

Kennedy Maria Segars was born in Atlanta, GA on May 14, 2000 to the parentage of Marvin K. Segars, Sr. and Quvada A. Moreland. Early on, Kennedy’s parents and those around her knew that she was not only an inquisitive child full of energy and personality, but it was also realized that Kennedy was destined to be a young person of purpose!
